Finance Business Partner – Eye, Suffolk – £35,000 – 40,000

If you’re looking for a more commercial finance role where you can influence decisions, partner with operational teams, and play a key part in driving performance, this Finance Business Partner position could be a great next step. You’ll join a well-established manufacturing business and work closely with the Financial Controller, and operational leaders across the site.

You’ll take ownership of key month-end processes, support cost and margin analysis, and provide insight that helps the business understand performance and make informed decisions. This is a hands-on, varied role with real visibility and the chance to make a measurable impact.

What you’ll be doing

• Supporting month-end reporting, including accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations

• Providing analysis on stock, manufacturing costs, overheads, and variances to budget

• Preparing inventory movement trackers and supporting stock reporting

• Reviewing cost of sales, PPV, and margin performance

• Supporting sales and order reporting, helping the business understand trends and drivers

• Partnering with manufacturing teams on KPIs, performance reporting, and operational improvements

• Assisting with audit preparation, ERP development, and continuous improvement projects

• Helping drive automation, efficiency, and better financial processes across the team

What you’ll bring

• Experience in a manufacturing finance environment, with strong analytical and commercial awareness

• Excellent Excel skills and confidence working with complex data

• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and the confidence to challenge and influence

• Ideally, you will be part-qualified (ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent
