Are you a Health & Safety professional from a manufacturing background, looking for a highly autonomous role within a well-established business offering a 4-day working week and long-term stability?

You will be responsible for managing and improving all Health, Safety, and Environmental systems across the site, ensuring compliance with legal standards while driving a strong safety culture. This role will see you working closely with operations and senior management to implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

The company is a respected and long-standing manufacturer supporting the construction and machinery sectors, known for quality, investment in people, and a commitment to high standards. You will play a key role in shaping HSE strategy and influencing the wider business.

This role would suit a proactive Health & Safety Executive or Advisor who enjoys autonomy, driving change, and being the go-to expert for all health, safety, and environmental matters.

The Role:

• Develop and improve HSE policies, procedures, and systems * Conduct risk assessments including COSHH and site audits * Lead internal audits and ensure compliance with ISO standards * Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions * Deliver training, toolbox talks, and promote safety culture * Liaise with external bodies and manage statutory compliance

The Person:

• NEBOSH Diploma (or working towards) * Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments * Knowledge of ISO14001 / ISO45001
