Analogue Press Brake Operator

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining press brake machinery to produce high-quality metal components 15mm - 20mm in thickness. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical processes and the ability to work with precision tools.

Responsibilities

* Operate press brake machinery to bend and shape sheet metal according to specifications.

* Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine the correct bending processes.

* Set up tooling and fixtures for various production runs, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

* Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required standards.

* Perform routine maintenance on press brake equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.

* Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and resolve any issues that arise during manufacturing.

* Assist in the fabrication and assembly of metal components as needed.

Skills

* Strong mechanical knowledge with an understanding of press brake operations.

* Proficiency in working with sheet metal, including grinding, welding, and using hand tools.

* Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations during production.

* Experience with tooling setup and adjustments for various projects.

* Ability to fabricate and assemble components as per specifications.
