Tax Manager required. My client is a top 50+50 accountancy practice based in the South West of England. They are seeking an Assistant Tax Manager or Tax Manager to join us on a permanent basis in our Exeter office with hybrid and flexible working available.

This role is most suited to a current Assistant Tax Manager or a high performing Tax Senior looking to progress their career, or a Tax Manager looking to gain new experiences.

Tax Manager Position Overview

Deliver a full range of tax services in compliance with laws and regulations
Support the tax team to provide a wide range of tax advisory projects
Provide innovative tax returns and preparation of complex tax returns
Identify and mitigate tax risks
Manage the tax provision and tax compliance processes in the office
Manage the financial performance of the tax department
Build strong relationships with clients, providing tax planning and support

The ideal candidate will be ATT or/and CTA qualified and will have previous experience working in an accountancy practice.

Must have strong knowledge of tax and all types of compliance returns
Strong technical tax knowledge across a wide range of taxes
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an exceptional eye for detail

Tax Manager Position Remuneration

Basic salary up to £40,000 (DOE)
