Part-Time Medical Receptionist

Temporary to Permanent | £12.21 per hour

Are you a friendly, organised individual with a passion for healthcare? We're seeking a Part-Time Medical Receptionist to join a busy medical practice primarily based in Scotter. This is an excellent opportunity to support a multidisciplinary clinical team in delivering outstanding patient care.

Please note: While your main base will be Scotter, occasional travel to Kirton may be required for staff cover, meetings, or other needs.

Working Hours (30 hours per week):

Monday: 1:30pm - 6:00pm
Tuesday: 1:30pm - 5:30pm
Wednesday: 9:00am - 1:00pm & 1:30pm - 6:00pm
Thursday: 4:00pm - 8:00pm
Friday: 8:30am - 1:00pm & 1:30pm -  6:00pm
Key Responsibilities:

Manage and monitor the practice appointment system.
Process appointment requests via phone, in person, and online.
Answer and direct incoming calls efficiently.
Signpost patients to the correct services.
Act as a communication hub between patients, clinical staff, and external providers.
Support the clinical and administrative team with additional tasks as required.
What We're Looking For:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
Friendly and approachable manner.
Flexibility to occasionally travel to Kirton.
Availability to start immediately.
