We are currently working on behalf of a well-established civil engineering and groundworks contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to oversee projects across Warrington and the wider North West region.

Our client delivers a range of groundworks and civil engineering packages for residential and commercial developments, and due to continued growth they are looking to strengthen their project delivery team.

The Role

As Project Manager, you will take responsibility for the planning, coordination and successful delivery of civil engineering and groundworks projects, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and within budget.

You will work closely with Contracts Managers, Site Managers and operational teams to ensure projects run efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

Managing civil engineering and groundworks projects from start to completion

*

Coordinating site teams including Site Managers, engineers and subcontractors

*

Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget

*

Monitoring programme, progress and project performance

*

Managing client relationships and attending project meetings

*

Coordinating plant, labour and materials across projects

*

Ensuring compliance with health & safety and quality standards

*

Reporting project updates to senior management

Requirements

*

Proven experience as a Project Manager within civil engineering or groundworks

*

Strong knowledge of residential groundworks or infrastructure projects

*

SMSTS

*

CSCS Card

*

Excellent leadership and communication skills

*

Strong planning and organisational ability
