Full-Time Teaching Assistants - SEMH School in Poole

Start Date: January

We're working closely with a fantastic school that provides a highly personalised, therapeutic learning environment. They are seeking full-time Teaching Assistants who can bring empathy, resilience, and enthusiasm to their team from January.

What You'll Be Doing

Supporting pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs, particularly those with attachment-based challenges

Building strong, trusting relationships through consistency, patience, and a caring approach

Working alongside teachers and therapists to tailor learning experiences

Creating a safe, encouraging, and engaging environment where pupils feel understood

Helping students build confidence, develop emotional regulation skills, and achieve personal and academic milestones

What We're Looking For

A calm, nurturing, and adaptable mindset

Experience within SEND or SEMH settings is beneficial but not essential

A genuine passion for helping young people overcome barriers

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Someone ready to embrace each day with positivity and purpose

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
