ABOUT THE JOB
We are seeking a detail-orientated and well-organized manager to join our growing team. You will play a key role in the day- to- day activities of the firm surrounding finance, collections, payroll, personnel, reporting, leadership, and training.
Candidates must possess a positive attitude and the ability to work well in high volume situations. Mastery of software is a critical job requirement as are strong communication skills. Experience in the construction/environmental industry is preferred.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure we are following accounting best practices and that general ledger is adequately maintained
Monitor vendor invoices/statements for accuracy
Responsible for timely and accurate payroll process
Strong oversight of the accounts receivables with particular attention to collection of outstanding invoices
Document timely evaluations of staff and ensure that personnel files are up to date
Provide periodic financial reports along with other key metrics
Clearly demonstrate vision and work ethic to staff in order to lead by example
Refine company procedures to ensure a properly trained and motivated staff
Other duties as directed by management
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree preferred with an emphasis in accounting or related field
Five years of proven accounting/bookkeeping experience
Five years supervisory experience
Experience with QuickBooks, Microsoft Office suite, CRM’s necessary
Excellent written and verbal skills
