NJR Recruitment is delighted to be working with a highly respected and growing financial planning business based in Manchester, now seeking an experienced and detail-focused Financial Planning Administrator to join their expanding team.

What’s on Offer:

  • Salary: £26,000 – £32,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process new business applications across pensions, investments, and protection
  • Manage client servicing tasks including withdrawals, fund switches, surrenders, and income changes
  • Liaise with clients and product providers to gather valuations, documents, and updates
  • Prepare pre-sale documentation such as illustrations, quotations, and summaries
  • Support the preparation of annual reviews and client meeting packs
  • Keep back-office records up to date (experience with platforms such as AJ Bell, Aviva, Transact preferred)
  • Provide friendly and professional support as a point of contact for clients

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a financial planning / IFA admin or support role
  • Good working knowledge of pension and investment products
  • Experience with industry platforms (AJ Bell, Aviva, Aberdeen Wrap, Transact)
  • Strong IT skills (Word and Excel essential)
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities
  • Ideally working towards the Diploma in Financial Planning (not essential)
  • A team player with a client-focused mindset and a high level of accuracy
