Job Title: Resident Liaison Officer

Salary: £35,000 per annum + Car Allowance

The current requirement is for an RLO to support the delivery of SHDF works on a project based in Guildford, which is scheduled to run until March. Following the completion of this scheme, the successful candidate will transition to our Guinness contract, delivering a range of major refurbishment works across South West and North West London.
The ideal candidate will:
Have proven experience working within social housing and, ideally, on SHDF or similar retrofit projects
* Be confident liaising with residents, contractors, and site teams to support smooth project delivery
* Be willing and able to travel between multiple sites, as some properties may be located across several areas (though generally within close proximity)
* Be based in Surrey or Berkshire (preferred but not essential), with flexibility to cover the wider surrounding regions
Package:
* Salary: £35,000 plus car allowance or VAN and fuel card
* Benefits: Travel allowance plus mileage, or a company van with fuel card
* Start Date: Immediate
Key Responsibilities of the Resident Liaison Officer:
- Engaging with residents and understand the needs of the community to deliver a personal service
- Provide a friendly courteous service in connection with residents
- Support, communicate and advise the site team

- Undertake resident profiling to identify individual needs and tailor our service
- Implement our Customer Journey process to guide residents to manage expectations, maximise satisfaction and explain works, give notices, write newsletters etc
- Make access arrangements mutually convenient with residents
- Attend evening/weekend appointments where necessary
- Organise community events
- Manage complains/compliments and deal with all feedback. Keep complaints log with remedial actions and report weekly to the client
- Lead aftercare/handover service
Requirements of the Resident Liaison Officer:
- 1+ year of experience as a Resident Liaison Officer (Social Housing).
- Strong communication skills and empathy.
