Are you an experienced Quality Inspector looking for your next opportunity within a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We are a leading metal processing business based in Dudley, and we are seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector to join our team.

In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards, from production through to pre-dispatch audits. Working closely with key accounts and production teams, you'll use your inspection expertise to help us deliver exceptional results for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

Manage key accounts, ensuring supply requirements are met during production and pre-dispatch audits.

*

Inspect parts at various stages of production and before dispatch, ensuring compliance with the Quality Plan and customer requirements.

*

Use measuring equipment such as micrometers, verniers, and depth gauges.

*

Record and report inspection results accurately.

*

Prepare and package parts in line with key account requirements.

*

Conduct tests to maintain compliance with the Customer Control Plan.

*

Operate forklift trucks, overhead cranes, and other handling equipment safely.

About You

We are looking for someone with strong attention to detail and a proven background in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment.

Essential skills & experience:

*

Previous Quality Inspection experience, ideally within an ISO 9001 Quality Management System environment.

*

Proven experience with inspections and pre-dispatch audits.

*

Skilled in the use of general measuring equipment.

*

Experience operating forklift trucks and overhead cranes.

*

Strong computer literacy.

*

Clear and confident communicator, both written and verbal.

Desirable skills & knowledge:

*

Understanding of steel processing (lasers and press machines).

*

Ability to interpret technical drawings.
