NextGen Teachers is proud to partner with a specialist provision in Huddersfield to recruit a passionate and resilient English Teacher with experience or strong interest in working with students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The Role:

As an SEMH English Teacher, you will:

Plan and deliver engaging English lessons to KS3/KS4 students with SEMH needs.
Foster a positive and nurturing classroom environment that promotes emotional and academic growth.
Collaborate closely with support staff, SENCOs, and external professionals to provide holistic support.
Use trauma-informed and relational approaches to behaviour management.

What We're Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS).
Experience working with SEMH learners or in alternative provision is essential
A strong understanding of how to engage and motivate vulnerable or disengaged pupils
