Our service technicians go through a rigorous training program, not just on repair, but also customer service and computer training. The service technician role is an extremely important role within the Rooms To Go Team. Service Techs will travel to our customers' homes, and will be part of the "Face" of Rooms To Go. They will be responsible for repairing damaged furniture (upholstery, wood, etc.) if possible, or assisting with replacing products if necessary.
Qualified candidates will possess a clean driving record and solid mechanical skills, and must be 21 years of age or older. Prior experience of wood, leather, upholstery repair and computer skills is a plus, but not required. Paid training will be provided for the right candidate! Must work well independently, be self-motivated and able to handle direction well. Must have a positive, customer-oriented attitude! A van, gas for travel to customers' homes, tools and supplies will be provided. Alternating work schedule will be Monday -- Friday one week and Tuesday -- Saturday the following.
