About the role:
As Thought Leadership and Content Senior Advisor, you will drive the development and delivery of high-quality, globally aligned thought leadership content across multiple formats and channels. Working closely with colleagues in Business Development, Marketing, and across practice groups, you will identify priority topics, craft compelling narratives, and showcase Linklaters' expertise to key client audiences. Your impact will be measured through tangible work opportunities, enhanced public profile, and content that resonates with clients' current and future challenges.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the creation of distinctive, insight-led thought leadership campaigns supporting the firm's brand, client, and sector priorities
- Identify emerging topics and shape timely, engaging content-across articles, reports, video, podcasts, and social media
- Ensure all content maintains the firm's high editorial standards, tone of voice, and strategic messaging
- Collaborate globally with marketing teams to amplify reach and ensure seamless campaign integration
- Oversee the delivery of major cross-border thought leadership initiatives, providing strong project management and stakeholder coordination
- Leverage performance data and audience insights to optimise impact and demonstrate return on investment
- Maintain deep knowledge of sector trends, competitor activity, and client challenges to strengthen relevancy and value
- Act as a guardian of quality, offering editorial support and ensuring clarity, consistency, and effectiveness in all content
- Build strong relationships internally, working with client and practice teams to generate engagement and drive conversations
- Track key performance indicators and use data to recommend refinements before, during, and after campaigns
About you:
- Degree qualified in law, communications, marketing or related field
- Proven experience in a senior thought leadership or content creation role, ideally within the legal, financial or corporate sectors
- Strong ability to generate, write, edit and strategically plan high-impact content for varied formats and global audiences
- Excellent project management skills, with a track record of coordinating complex initiatives and stakeholders
- In-depth understanding of industry trends, client needs, and the commercial landscape
- Proficiency in integrating content with wider business development and marketing strategies, and experience working with platforms such as Salesforce is advantageous
- Demonstrated editorial skills and close attention to style, quality, and relevance
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal skills
- A collaborative and adaptable approach, with commitment to diversity and inclusion
This role is based at the Linklaters London office with a hybrid working model available.
