Electrical Site Manager - Permanent - Leeds City Centre

Mech Electrics Limited are recruiting for a key North West-based MEP contractor delivering a major new-build office development in Leeds city centre.

This is a permanent opportunity to join an established MEP contractor with a strong order book and repeat commercial client base.

The scheme is a new-build office project with a circa £5.5M electrical package, forming part of a full MEP delivery.

Start: April
Location: Leeds City Centre (site-based role)
Duration: 12-month project (with ongoing pipeline thereafter)
Employment: Permanent

The Role:

Take full responsibility for the electrical package on site

*

Manage subcontractors and site labour

*

Coordinate with mechanical teams and main contractor

*

Ensure works are delivered safely and to programme

*

Lead site meetings and progress reporting

*

Manage QA, inspections and compliance

*

Oversee commissioning and handover

*

Drive programme and maintain delivery standards

Requirements:

*

Strong electrical background (essential)

*

Proven experience as an Electrical Site Manager

*

Commercial new-build experience preferred

*

SMSTS or SSSTS

*

Strong leadership and coordination skills

*

Able to manage a busy city-centre scheme
