Contract Type: Full-Time | Permanent

We are looking for an enthusiastic and flexible KS1 or KS2 Class Teacher to join our small, close-knit team from September 2025. This is a full-time, permanent post in a welcoming one-form entry primary school in Lancashire, ideal for someone who values community, collaboration, and making a real impact in a supportive setting.

About the School:

Our school is a friendly, well-regarded one-form entry primary situated in a semi-rural area of Lancashire. With strong links to the local community and a warm, inclusive ethos, we provide a nurturing environment where every child is known and supported to thrive—both academically and personally.

As a smaller school, we pride ourselves on our team spirit, strong staff-pupil relationships, and a personalised approach to teaching and learning. Our pupils are respectful, enthusiastic, and eager to learn.

We Offer:

*

A caring and supportive leadership team who listen and invest in staff

*

A tight-knit and collaborative teaching staff who support each other

*

Mixed-age and single-year planning support, depending on experience

*

Opportunities to teach in KS1 or KS2, depending on your strengths

*

A well-sequenced and engaging curriculum that supports deep learning

*

Dedicated PPA time with your key stage colleagues and SLT support

*

Strong parent partnerships and community involvement

*

CPD opportunities tailored to small-school settings and subject leadership

The Role:

You will be responsible for leading a class in either Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, depending on your experience and preference. You will plan and deliver high-quality lessons, assess pupil progress, and work closely with teaching assistants and fellow staff to support every learner.

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

*

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

*

Has experience in either KS1 or KS2 and a good grasp of the National Curriculum

*

Is confident planning lessons that cater for mixed-ability groups

*

Values strong relationships and personalised learning

*

Is a team player who enjoys working in a small, supportive environment

*

Is reflective, proactive, and committed to professional growth

*

Can bring positivity, creativity, and consistency to the classroom

Location:

Our school is located in Lancashire, with access to beautiful countryside and a supportive local community. We're easily reachable from surrounding towns and offer a peaceful and welcoming place to work.

Please send your CV and a short covering letter outlining your relevant experience and why you're interested in joining our school. We warmly welcome informal visits, which can be arranged by contacting the school office.
