Job Opportunity: Production Operative (Temp to Perm) 

Location: PershoreHours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm (42 hours/week)Pay: £12.21 per hour (overtime paid at standard rate)Contract: Temp to Perm (2 positions available)Occasional weekend work during peak seasons 

We’re looking for two proactive and detail-oriented individuals to join a fast-paced manufacturing team as Production Operative. This is a hands-on, varied role that spans the full production cycle – from picking and manufacturing to dispatching products.

You’ll be working with a small, passionate team where quality and initiative are key. This is not a typical pick/pack warehouse role – it’s a creative and technical environment where you’ll learn to operate engraving and laser machinery, and contribute to the production of bespoke items.

Manufacturing & Production

• Operate engraving and laser machines (training provided)
• Manufacture personalised, made-to-order products
• Follow personalisation reports and quality standards
• Rotate through different production areas as you gain experience

Order Fulfilment

• Pick and prepare items for production
• Use order management systems accurately
• Pack and dispatch customer and wholesale orders

General Duties

• Maintain a clean and safe workspace
• Support other departments including Goods In and Customer Service
• Take ownership of your work and contribute to team success

• Someone who can work independently after training 
• Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work
• A creative or “arty” mindset is a plus
• Reliable, flexible, and eager to learn new skills
• Previous experience in a production or fulfilment environment is beneficial
