Our caregiver position is an opportunity to grow with our company. We have beautiful homes for our in-home care services in Reno and Carson City, NV. We're looking for people with a love for helping others!
Offering a $300 sign on bonus for those who complete work requirements within the first month and continue working for at least 3 months.
Must be able to pass a background check, lift 40+ pounds, have interest in cooking, light housekeeping, and follow instructions and training through on-line tools.
*This is a non-smoking/alcohol company
THESE ARE 24 HOUR SHIFTS WITH 8 Hours of Rest each night.
Valid driver's license
High School Diploma
Pass a state & FBI background check (work requirement)
TB test (2-Step or QuantiFERON) (work requirement)
Physicians report of good health within the last 6 months (work requirement)
CPR/First Aid certification (within 30 days of hire)(work requirement)
Working as a PCA you will provide some of the following needed services:
Ensure residents receive their medication on time
Support residents who can't move on their own
Help residents dress, bathe, eat etc.
Assist residents with daily activities and exercises
Cook meals according to the residents dietary needs
Do necessary housekeeping to maintain a perpetually clean environment
Provide emotional support
Inform supervisors about uncommon events
Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
Proven experience as personal care assistant
Committed to health & safety
Able to do housework and cooking
Well-organized, reliable, and well-groomed
Excellent communication and people skills
Positive and compassionate attitude
