Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join a global water and wastewater engineering company, in a permanent position. Our client is looking for candidates at an engineering level to senior level. As the successful candidate you will be required to work on a hybrid basis (3 days a week) from our client's office in Birmingham.

This is a great opportunity to work on a variety of water and wastewater projects with an experienced and motivated team.

-Competitive salary ranging from £45,000-£62,500 (depending on experience).

Key Responsibilities:

-Design and develop electrical systems for water and wastewater treatment projects.

-Produce detailed electrical drawings, specifications, and supporting documentation.

-Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and health & safety requirements.

-Work closely with other engineering disciplines and external stakeholders.

-Support site visits, commissioning, and timely delivery of design projects.

What we are looking for:

-Degree or HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering (or related field).

-Experience in electrical design, preferably in the water or utilities sector.

-Familiarity with BS7671, IET Wiring Regulations, and CDM standards.

-Skilled in AutoCAD and electrical design software such as Amtech or ETAP.

-Strong communication, problem-solving, and project management skills
