Accounts & Payroll Assistant
Norwich

Keeler Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established Norwich-based business in their search for an Accounts & Payroll Assistant to join their small, close-knit finance team.
This is a varied and hands-on role, offering the opportunity to take ownership of the day-to-day finance function, with a particular focus on bookkeeping and payroll.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing day-to-day bookkeeping duties
- Processing payroll and ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records
- Purchase and sales ledger processing
- VAT returns and supporting month-end processes
- Liaising with internal stakeholders and external providers
The Ideal Candidate:
- AAT qualified or Qualified by Experience (QBE)
- Previous experience in a similar accounts and payroll role
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles
- Experience using Xero would be highly advantageous
- Confident working independently within a small team
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
