Norwich

3-5 days per week (flexible)

£28k - £30k FTE

Keeler Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established Norwich-based business in their search for an Accounts & Payroll Assistant to join their small, close-knit finance team.

This is a varied and hands-on role, offering the opportunity to take ownership of the day-to-day finance function, with a particular focus on bookkeeping and payroll.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing day-to-day bookkeeping duties
  • Processing payroll and ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records
  • Purchase and sales ledger processing
  • VAT returns and supporting month-end processes
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders and external providers

The Ideal Candidate:

  • AAT qualified or Qualified by Experience (QBE)
  • Previous experience in a similar accounts and payroll role
  • Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles
  • Experience using Xero would be highly advantageous
  • Confident working independently within a small team
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
