Salary: £48000 - £70000/annum

Our client has a vacancy for a Senior HR Business Partner to join their People and Culture team. The role is full-time and is initially expected to be for 6 to 9 months.

To be considered you will need significant experience of:

* Operating in a client-facing, HR generalist role where leadership, advice and guidance is provided on a wide range of HR issues to a broad range of stakeholders.

* Managing complex ER case work, including engaging in settlement discussions, ACAS conciliation and balancing of risks in considering appropriate steps

* All disciplines at an HR Manager or Business Partner level working with senior managers and directors.

The role

Reporting to the Head of People Business Partnering, this is a wide ranging HR generalist role. You will provide a high quality, professional, customer service driven approach, working with key stakeholders to successfully deliver and execute the People strategy and support people operations across the organisation. You will adopt an approach that supports proactive, commercially focussed decision making through the use of data and that drives organisational performance.

The role will use data and KPIs to drive decision making, ensuring proactive addressing or case work including, and supporting the development of management capability through coaching, formal training delivery and guidance. The postholder will play a pivotal role in translating the People strategy into operational action and delivery, and supporting culture change as move to a more commercially focussed and performance oriented organisation.

Requirements

MCIPD or equivalent experience.

Educated to degree

Line management experience.

Experience of delivery training sessions or workshops to managers on HR processes

Significant knowledge of employment law and HR best practice as well as a curiosity to understand forthcoming changes and stay at the forefront of legal change affecting the HR sector.

Working with data and reports, and growing knowledge of working in a more tech enabled way (ie. use of AI)

Strong relationship and influencing skills across all levels, with high levels of emotional intelligence.

Ability to operate effectively in a complex organisation and able to manage the expectations of multiple stakeholders.

Innovative, strategic thinker and pro-active problem solver.

Commercially aware and business-focussed.

Ability to work effectively as both a leader of a team and as a member of a wider team.

IT literate and data savvy - able to analyse and assess challenges and opportunities.
