Slingers & Supervisors - SC Cleared (Contract Roles)

Location: East Coast of Scotland

Duration: Up to 6 months Start Date: Immediate

We're seeking multiple experienced Slingers and a Supervisor for long-term contract roles supporting high-profile naval engineering projects.

Slingers must hold NVQ Level 2 or higher, City & Guilds, or Apprenticeship qualifications, along with full SC clearance and proven experience in confined marine environments.

Key Responsibilities (Slingers):

Safely sling, lift, and move heavy components within a naval dockyard

Operate in confined spaces under strict safety protocols

Conduct pre-use inspections of lifting equipment

Collaborate with engineers and technicians on shipbuilding and maintenance

Requirements:

NVQ Level 2 or above / City & Guilds / Apprenticeship in relevant discipline

Full SC clearance and Disclosure Scotland

Marine experience (shipbuilding, offshore, or naval dockyard)

Strong knowledge of lifting operations, rigging, and confined space safety

Pay Rates (All Hours Including Overtime):
