We are seeking a dedicated Grab Wagon Driver to join our team, focusing on the distribution of concrete and aggregate. This role requires a reliable individual with either a Class 1 or Class 2 license, ready to handle deliveries with precision and care.
Day-to-day of the role: - Safely operate a grab wagon to transport concrete and aggregate to various locations.
- Perform daily vehicle checks to ensure mechanical integrity and safety.
- Load and unload materials efficiently, using the grab and tipper mechanism.
- Adhere to scheduled routes and timing, with a focus on safe driving practices.
- Maintain communication with the dispatch team to report any issues or delays.
- Ensure compliance with all transportation laws and regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - Valid Class 1 or Class 2 driver’s license.
- Experience in operating grab wagons and handling materials such as concrete and aggregate.
- Strong understanding of road safety and vehicle maintenance.
- Good geographical knowledge of Doncaster and surrounding areas.
- Excellent time management and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and make informed decisions on the road.
