Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate curriculum and lesson plans that promote children's cognitive, social, and physical development. This might involve organizing and leading activities, games, and educational experiences
- Keep open and effective communication with parents or guardians, keeping them informed about their child's progress and daily activities
- Ensure the safety, well-being, and development of the children in your care
- Regularly observe and assess each child's development, behaviour, and needs. Keep detailed records and share progress with parents and caregivers during parent-teacher meetings
- Minimum of a Level 3 childcare qualification or equivalent (e.g., CACHE, NNEB)
- Paediatric First Aid certification
- Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
- Strong knowledge of modern teaching methods and technology integration in education
