HGV Technician - Swindon

Are you an experienced HGV Technician looking for a new challenge with excellent career progression and a supportive team? We have a fantastic opportunity for a skilled technician to join a growing commercial vehicle service operation based at a major distribution centre in Swindon.

You'll play a key role in ensuring vehicles are serviced, repaired, and maintained to the highest standards, working closely with the workshop team to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and general servicing

* Diagnose faults and repair vehicle defects efficiently

* Perform road tests to ensure quality and safety

* Prepare vehicles for MOTs and handle related documentation

* Complete all required paperwork accurately and promptly

What We're Looking For:

* Qualified HGV Technician (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)

* Proven experience within a similar commercial vehicle environment

* Full UK driving licence (HGV licence desirable)

* Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and team spirit

* Commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and customer service

Working Hours & Benefits:

* Shifts available: early, day, late, and night

* Permanent evening shift option (45-hour week)

* Split shift arrangement for flexible work-life balance:

* Week 1: 6.00am - 3.30pm (Mon-Fri)

* Week 2: 1.00pm - 10.30pm (Mon-Fri)

* Very competitive salary, including shift allowance

* Overtime opportunities available
