Salary: £34,000-£38,000

Full-time- 40 hours per week

🔧 About the Role

We're recruiting a Repairs Supervisor to oversee responsive repairs and maintenance works across social housing properties on behalf of a local council.

👷 Key Responsibilities

Project Supervision: Oversee day-to-day delivery of responsive repairs, ensuring all works meet quality standards and comply with safety regulations

Resource Management: Coordinate labour, materials, and equipment to maximise efficiency and meet service targets

Client & Resident Liaison: Act as a key point of contact for residents, clients, and stakeholders, ensuring excellent customer service

Quality Control: Carry out inspections and monitor works completed by direct operatives and subcontractors

Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to all H&S policies, conducting audits and addressing risks promptly

Problem Resolution: Identify and resolve on-site issues, escalating where necessary

Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records and provide progress updates to management and clients

Team Leadership: Supervise and support operatives and subcontractors, promoting a productive working environment

Cost Control: Assist in managing budgets and ensuring work is delivered within financial constraints

Undertake any other reasonable duties as required

✅ Requirements

CSCS Gold Card (NVQ Level 3 minimum)

SSSTS or SMSTS qualification

Asbestos Awareness, Working at Height & Scaffold Inspection training

Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle

Strong IT skills

Proven experience supervising repairs or maintenance works (ideally within social housing)
