Remuneration: £28,000 - £35,000 + bonus

The role of the CAD Technician - Flat Roofing Systems will involve:

* CAD Technician position dealing with various flat roof systems such as; felt roofing, green roofing systems, bitumen membranes, hot melt roofing, cold liquid applied waterproofing, waterproof roof coatings, single ply, structural waterproofing etc

* Produce, check and process incoming design drawing requests, technical documentation and technical calculations

* Checking incoming specifications against client and technical requirements such as sustainability and compatibly

* Carrying out calculations relative to waterproof design (thermal performance, drainage, wind loads, and PV)

* Fielding inbound technical enquiries via telephone and email

* Keep up to date with Industry Codes of Practice & Building Regulations

The ideal applicant will be a CAD Technician - Flat Roofing Systems with:

* Must have CAD experience within the construction industry

* Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings

* Would consider architects, architectural technicians, surveyors, draughtsmen etc

* Ideally will have a construction related degree

* Strong technical skills

* IT literate (Microsoft Office)

* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
