Salary: £13.29 - £16.62 per hour + pension, private healthcare, bonuses

A Night Coach at SuperCare provides safety, stability, and reassurance for young people with complex learning disabilities and associated conditions/syndromes such as: Smith-Magenis Syndrome, congenital hypopituitarism, global developmental delay, ASD, sensory processing differences, SEMH, and attachment-related trauma.
You'll be the steady presence during the night - helping children feel safe and cared for when they are at their most vulnerable.

The home is rated "Good" by Ofsted and is looking to continue its journey towards "Outstanding".
This isn't just a job - it's about being part of a team of adults that helps children feel safe, supported, and able to thrive, even when life has given them a difficult start.


What You'll Do

No two nights are the same in this home however there are some strong routines. We look for all adults in our homes to be able to support as below:

  • Provide overnight supervision, ensuring children are safe and supported.
  • Respond calmly to sleep disturbances, impulsivity, or emotional outbursts, including self-injury.
  • Support with personal care and administer medication where required.
  • Offer gentle reassurance when children wake anxious, distressed, or confused.
  • Keep accurate records and hand over to the day team.


What We're Looking For

We're looking for adults with some previous experience supporting young people with complex needs, ideally in a care setting:

  • You're calm under pressure and emotionally steady when children are not.
  • You understand how sleep disruption and impulsivity affect children with rare syndromes like Smith-Magenis.
  • Trauma-informed and attachment-aware, you're able to provide comfort and consistency.
  • Experience in care is helpful, but what matters most is your resilience and warmth.
