A rapidly expanding Construction Consultancy is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on a major infrastructure project across London.
The Senior Quantity Surveyor's role
Working on a major project located across the city - the successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will work either from home or from the client's office, working on major infrastructure projects valuing between £100m - £1B.
The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will lead and commercial manage projects as well as mentoring QS and Junior Quantity Surveyors. Day to day will involve a mixture of pre and post contract work including reviewing cost data, carrying out commercial audits, contract administration, and forecasting.
The Senior Quantity Surveyor
- NEC contract experience
- Previous infrastructure project experience (preferably electrical, substations, overhead lines) is desirable.
- Must be client facing, able to integrate well with teams
- MRICS would be nice, but not essential
- Able to lead projects
- Strong pre and post contract knowledge
