We have an excellent career opportunity for a Team Leader to join our team here at iBC Healthcare. We do require applicants to be a driver with access to their vehicles as they will be working within multiple supported Living sites across Sheffield.

Requirements: A full UK driving licence and previous supported living experience are needed for this specific role.

Contract: 40hrs per week

Hours: Shift hours 7:00 am – 9:00 pm (based on-site) Hours: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm (based at the office in Chesterfield)

Pay: £13.65per hour

Key responsibilities:

  • Supporting young adults and adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, complex needs, and challenging behaviour within a supported living environment
  • Supporting and managing supporting staff
  • Providing high standards of care and support for service users, in line with care and support plans, compliance with CQC regulations and the care & support policies and procedures
  • Identifying the needs and preferences of each individual and providing personal care
  • Encourage good community relationships by promoting a variety of activities
  • Accurately report, record keeping and maintaining records as required
  • Be a kind, empathetic and people person who works well in a team.

Our ideal candidate:

  • Must have experience in Health & Social
  • Have a minimum of 1 year’s experience as a Team leader in a supported living setting, working with individuals with learning disabilities and complex behaviours
  • NVQ level 3 in Health and social care or working towards
  • UK Manual driving licence and access to your own vehicle
  • Proactive person who can use your own initiative to make decision
  • Ability to lead a team to provide high-quality care
  • Good Attitude and work ethic
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Empathetic to people and kind
  • Good communication skills
  • A desire to genuinely help other people and make a difference.
