Temporary HR Assistant (4 months assignment)

Salary: £22,000- £23,000 (equivalent paid hourly) (can do hybrid working if preferred)

Location: South Yorkshire based / or North Yorkshire / or Hybrid working perm

This is a 'great' opportunity to gain some incredible positive HR experience working in a very experienced busy HR team in a highly positive fast paced successful large organisation.

Reporting into the HRM and working closely with another HR Assistant you will be supporting a busy proactive HR department through the increase in business they have experienced and helping with support on a large workload.

This is a crucial role in their HR department where they will expect this person to hit the floor running and get on with a number of HR tasks.

The ideal candidate will have excellent IT skills, be organised and accurate in their work and capable of working unsupervised, but with the support of the HR team. (If they have experience using ResourceLink system that would be great, but not essential as training will be given).

During the pandemic this organisation has experienced a surge in business and as a result have recruited heavily across the business. Some of the work required will be keeping the system up to date with getting the personnel files up to date, checking the right information is in the files, taking references, GDPR, making sure starter packs/documents are correct, looking at right to work and various legislation is correct and up-to-date, making contact with Managers across the business regarding their staff. There are several key tasks and projects to get involved in and all will require dedicated accurate work and excellent systems and IT skills together with an understanding of HR.

This role is an excellent opportunity for an HR graduate to work in a busy HR team and take responsibility for a few tasks and truly add value to the HR department.

The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of an HR dept and HR and a willingness to work to high standards on all HR tasks.
Excellent IT skills (added advantage if worked with ResourceLink)
Strong attention to detail, accurate work and can prioritise
Strong communicator and a team player.
HR graduate recently graduated or HR graduate with some working experience
A focused confident person, self-disciplined, self-motivated and organised
CIPD level 3 or 5 or degree in HR, or work experience in an HR department

£22,000 -£23,000 (equivalent paid hourly)(can do hybrid working if preferred)
