About the Role
We are currently recruiting qualified Nursery Practitioners to work within a range of friendly and supportive nurseries across Derby. This is a fantastic opportunity for passionate early years professionals who are dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children.

Key Responsibilities

Support the learning, development, and care of children aged 0-5 in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

Plan and deliver engaging activities that promote children's development and curiosity.

Ensure the nursery environment is safe, welcoming, and inclusive.

Observe, monitor, and record children's progress and development.

Build positive relationships with children, colleagues, and parents.

Follow safeguarding policies and maintain high standards of care and hygiene.

Requirements

A relevant childcare qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare/Early Years or equivalent).

Experience working in a nursery or early years setting.

Good understanding of the EYFS framework.

A caring, enthusiastic, and reliable approach.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
