Hours: 22.5 hours per week
As a Nursing Administrator, you will be:
- Assisting Lead Nurse in providing efficient and effective administrative and secretarial support to the hospital, including minuting meetings, assisting with audits and other administrative tasks as appropriate.
- Ensuring that all information and documentation is correctly processed in line with policies and procedures in order that regulatory, statutory, compliance and financial requirements are met.
- Maintaining the audit trail ensuring up to date and accurate information can be provided or accessed as required.
- Ensuring that all documentation is correctly filed.
- Provide cover for any other administrative duties as and when required.

- Operating a system which provides information about staff availability for both employed staff and bank staff. Ensure all contact details are up to date so that staff can be contacted.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Minimum of 4 GCSEs (including English and Mathematics) or equivalent
- Administration experience
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office preferred)
- Good verbal and written communication
- Plan and prioritise workload
- Excellent organisational skills
- Professional telephone manner
- Efficient organisational skills
- Knowledge of healthcare business
- Appreciation of Data Protection Act

You will be working at the Gateway Recovery Centre, a state-of-the-art facility which provides care for men and women with complex mental health requirements.
The hospital is split into four distinct areas:
· Male Autism Service for the challenging and complex needs of adults with Autism and Asperger’s syndrome
· Assessment and rehabilitation for women with complex mental health needs and personality difficulties
· Specialist inpatient service for older men with complex mental health and physical health needs.
· Low secure care setting for men with a mental illness with or without personality disorder/mild LD
You will be working alongside the team with the aim to improve the mental health and wellbeing of service users and to help them develop and maintain healthy relationships with others. Gateway Recovery Centre will work to reduce risk behaviours associated with mental health conditions so that our patients can ultimately live successful and fulfilling lives within the community.
