The Role
On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Leadership & Management Assessor / Apprenticeship Tutor. This is a field-based role with nationwide travel, focusing on delivering and assessing Leadership & Management Apprenticeships within a work-based learning environment. The position is ideal for a qualified NVQ Assessor with strong occupational competence in leadership and management.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities within this role will include:
- Deliver and assess Level 3 and Level 5 Leadership & Management Apprenticeships in the workplace.
- Conduct NVQ assessments including workplace observations, professional discussions, and portfolio evidence reviews.
- Support learners through the full apprenticeship journey, including gateway preparation and End-Point Assessment readiness.
- Develop individual learning plans and schemes of work aligned to apprenticeship standards.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to develop leadership, management, and professional skills.
- Deliver related standards including Customer Service and Business Administration (where applicable).
- Maintain accurate learner records in line with ESFA and awarding-body requirements.
- Build strong employer relationships and provide excellent customer service.
The Person
The ideal candidate is an experienced Leadership & Management Assessor with strong organisational skills and a passion for supporting learners.
Key requirements include:
- Occupational competence in leadership and management.
- Assessor qualification (TAQA, A1, CAVA, or equivalent).
- Experience delivering or assessing apprenticeships or NVQs.
- Experience in work-based learning, further education, or adult education.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
The Salary
£32,000 – £38,000 per year, including company car.
The Hours
Monday – Friday Full-time, field-based with nationwide travel.
The Location
Based in the North of England with nationwide travel.
