Responsibilities

Lead the delivery of high-quality, impartial Information, Advice, and Guidance (IAG) services for adult learners.

Ensure compliance with quality standards, including Matrix accreditation.

Prepare for audits and contribute to the strategic development of IAG provision.

Develop and manage impartial IAG provision to support learner progression.

Implement and maintain quality assurance procedures.

Track learner outcomes and progression, maintaining accurate records and data.

Deliver one-to-one and group careers guidance sessions, including CV support and job search skills.

Provide up-to-date Labour Market Information and attend relevant events and training.

Undertake outreach work and build partnerships with community groups and external organisations.

Contribute to the development of IAG-related publicity materials and learner communications.

Support the planning and delivery of open days and IAG events.

Monitor and report on performance against targets and objectives.

Ensure compliance with safeguarding, Prevent, and equality and diversity policies.

Participate in service improvement initiatives and project work as required.

Carry a personal caseload of clients, delivering tailored careers advice and SMART action plans.

Liaise with internal teams and external partners to ensure cohesive service delivery.

Support the collation of learner destination data and case studies.

Contribute to the development of internal systems and processes for data collection and reporting.

Attend and contribute to internal and external meetings, including regional IAG networks.

Maintain awareness of national and local policy developments affecting adult careers guidance.

Support the financial monitoring of IAG-related budgets in collaboration with the Business and Operations Manager.

Person Specification

Demonstrated experience in delivering high-quality careers guidance services.

Proven ability to manage and implement quality assurance procedures.

Strong interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.

Excellent organizational skills to track and report on learner outcomes and progression.

Ability to deliver engaging one-to-one and group sessions on careers guidance.

Knowledge of Labour Market Information and trends.

Experience in outreach work and building partnerships with community groups and external organizations.

Ability to contribute to the development of publicity materials and communications.

Commitment to safeguarding, equality, and diversity policies.

Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends and travel across the borough.

Commitment to continuing professional development and contributing to organizational aims.
