Our flexible Production unit based in Stevenage, Herts offers 60,000 square feet of state-of-the-art manufacturing and office space with flexible, highly skilled, and knowledgeable team producing electronics for major industries.

As we continue to expand our team, we have a brand-new opening for a talented Buyer / Planner to join our busy Supply Chain Dept. You will play a key role in the procurement of materials, while supporting the Planning function with material status and clear kit dates.

Key Responsibilities of the Buyer / Planner:

  • Review SOB daily to ensure Customer deliveries are executed as planned
  • Assist Planning with Production Planning if required
  • Run Customer OTIF reports
  • Actively interact with Purchasing and Planning to provide direction regarding material availability or limitations against inventory/production plans and develop action plans to address. Communicate/escalate issues as needed to stakeholders
  • Manage the MRP for a nominated list of commodities or parts. Place orders in a timely manner to meet Customer demands
  • Review and monitor goods and services to meet production requirements

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Previous experience in a similar role (Purchasing/Planning)
  • Strong level of computer literacy
  • High level of accuracy and keen eye for detail
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Positive and flexible approach to new challenge
  • Use of ERP systems, preferably EPICOR
  • Broad end to end supply chain and operations process knowledge
