In this role, you will work closely with the service manager to provide high-quality, person-centred care and lead a team of dedicated support workers to empower individuals to lead fulfilling and independent lives.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the manager in delivering a flexible, professional care service

Lead, supervise and develop a team of support workers

Actively engage with service users and staff to improve care delivery and outcomes

Oversee the implementation of individual support plans

Maintain accurate documentation and reports

Communicate effectively with families, professionals and external agencies

Promote a safe, supportive and stimulating environment

Requirements:

Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care

Minimum 2 years Previous experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, challenging behaviours, and/or mental health conditions ideally within a senior role.

Calm under pressure and confident working independently or as part of a team

Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for supporting vulnerable adults

Commitment to maintaining high standards of safeguarding and care delivery
