Role: Manufacturing Assembler / Operator

Location: Groby, Leicester

Duration: 12 months- Contract

Role Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Assembler / Operator to join a production team based in Groby, Leicestershire. This role involves working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, assembling electromechanical components and supporting production targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out duties within the production line as instructed by the line manager
• Assembling electromechanical components to required specifications
• Following technical drawings and manufacturing documentation
• Adhering to the company’s health and safety procedures.
• Supporting team objectives across safety, quality, cost, delivery, and compliance
• Contributing to lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
• Rotating across key processes as required

Skills & Experience Required

• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work across different stages of production
• Soldering experience to recognised standards (e.g., J-STD / IPC) is desirable but not essential
