TS Recruitment are actively working with a Main Contractor who are looking to add an additional Quantity Surveyorto theirteam to work on high end housing and apartment conversions in Portsmouth.

Benefits

Basic salary £60-70k doe
Company car or car allowance
32days paid holiday including bankholidays

Job Role & Responsibilities of the Quantity Surveyor:

Key Responsibilities

Commerciallymanage a largehousing and apartment refurb project
Site based role with full commercial responsibility including, variations,valuations cost value reportsand client meetings
Manage subcontractor and supplier approvalsand procurement processes
Prepare and issue contracts
Reconcile invoices and approve payments
Prepare and submit final accounts

Work on luxury housing and apartment conversionsoften on listed buildings
Involvement in new build and refurbishment projects, focusing on commercial luxury accommodation
Property values often £500- £1 million plus

Required Knowledge & Experience

Experience: Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor
Sector: Construction main contractor or housing experience
Education: Degree-level qualification is advantageous
Skills: Strong IT and numerical proficiency
License: Valid UK driving license
