Are you experienced working with KS3,4 and 5 students in a Secondary setting?

About the role - Teaching Assistant

I am currently working with this secondary school based in who Barnet who are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant on a full-time contract basis who is confident and comfortable providing 1-2-1 support and also teaching larger groups of SEN pupils who have ASD and ADHD needs. The Teaching Assistant will be caring, dedicated, and committed; confident in supporting the SEN department needs. The successful candidate will be able to build rapport well and become an excellent role model. You must be caring, calm and positive with a commitment to inclusion. Duties will include delivering intervention programmes, supporting SEN students in class and at other times. Also, there will be a need to contribute to termly reviews and contribute to planning meetings within the department. In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for supervising classes during the absence of teaching staff on a rotational basis. The successful candidate will have a qualification or interest in the area of Special Educational Needs.
