Position: Reception Class Teacher

Location: Wandsworth

Salary: £700-£900 week or paid to scale

Part Time: 3 to 4 days a week

Start: September 2025

Career Teachers are seeking a passionate, experienced, and dedicated Reception Teacher on behalf of a welcoming primary school in Wandsworth. This vibrant two-form entry community school, rated "Good" by Ofsted, is nestled within a diverse and close-knit neighbourhood. RESPONSIBILITY:

Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons that meet the Year 2 curriculum standards.
Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that nurtures curiosity and independence.
Review and monitor student progress, providing feedback to support individual learning needs.
Work closely with colleagues, parents, and carers to create a collaborative approach to each child's education.
Contribute to the school's vibrant, values-driven community.

REQUIREMENTS:

Qualified Teacher Status with relevant certifications.
Proven experience as a Primary School Teacher.
Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
DBS on the update service or wiling to complete one
Contactable referees available to verify or the last 2 years of employment
