Page Personnel are seeking a Management Accountant for a Chester based business who will be responsible for managing financial activities of a smaller entity in a larger group. This a great opportunity for an individual to develop their financial management experience within a group structure. Reporting to the Head of Finance, they will be a key member of the team ensuring accuracy and timeliness of the financial reporting for the business.

Description

The key responsibilities of the Management Accountant include:

Managing the preparation of the company's budget and financial forecasts including P&L, Balance Sheet & Cashflow, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to key stakeholders.
Providing financial reports and interpreting financial information to managerial staff.
Analysing costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results, and the company's actual performance compared to the business plans.
Developing strategies that work to minimise financial risk.
Analysing market trends and competitors.
Conducting reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
Working with the wider finance team to guide and implement efficiencies & encourage self-sufficient team.
Assist in the annual statutory reporting and year end audit process as required by the HOF. Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

Highly proficient Excel user (pivot & look up tables, modelling financial data etc)
Excellent strategic planning and financial analysis skills.
Strong understanding of business financials and reporting processes.
Extremely organised, able to meet deadlines and manage workload.
Strong communication, negotiation and relationship building skills.
Professional accreditation in Accounting & Finance.Job Offer
