We're urgently looking for an experienced Earthworks Supervisor to join a major civil engineering project in Aylesbury. This is a freelance role with an immediate start, ideal for someone who's ready to hit the ground running and take control of fast-paced site operations.

Role Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate all earthworks activities on-site (cut/fill, muck shift, compaction, etc.)

*

Lead site teams and subcontractors, ensuring work is completed safely and to high standards.

*

Manage daily site operations, report progress, and resolve on-site issues efficiently.

*

Monitor HSE compliance and quality control across all works.

*

Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other key stakeholders to maintain programme deadlines.

Essential Requirements:

*

Strong track record in supervising earthworks on civil engineering projects.

*

SMSTS or SSSTS.

*

Relevant tickets (CPCS/NPORS) highly desirable.

*

Solid understanding of ground conditions, plant operations, and health & safety.

*

Ability to work independently and take initiative on site.
