Our client is looking for an Assistant Finance Manager to join the team.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing financial statements like budgets, income statements, balance sheets, and reports. They also analyze financial data to identify trends and risks, and help with forecasting future financial performance.

• Ensure smooth financial operations by managing accounts payable and receivable, processing invoices, and supervising month-end closing procedures.

• Provide support to the Finance Manager in various administrative tasks.

Skills:

• Understanding core accounting principles like general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and financial statements.
  

• Ability to analyze financial data to identify trends, assess financial health, and support informed decision-making.
  

•  Experience in preparing financial reports like balance sheets and income statements, often using accounting software.
  

• Proficiency in accounting software (like QuickBooks or Xero) and familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
  

• Investigating discrepancies, identifying solutions to financial issues, and using data analysis to support decision-making.
  

• Good English both spoken and written 
  

• Team management experience 
  

Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is the minimum requirement

• 5 years' experience in a finance position 

• Logistics industry experience
