Polytec are looking for a Stores Operative to be responsible for the receipt, storage, inventory control and dispatch of components and finished goods within a busy operational environment. The role ensures accurate stock management, efficient order fulfilment and adherence to internal processes and quality standards while supporting internal teams and customer deliveries.

Responsibilities
• Manage the receipt, inspection, storage and accurate recording of incoming goods within the warehouse system
• Pick, kit and issue components for production orders and internal requests while maintaining organised and safe storage areas
• Prepare and dispatch customer and internal shipments, including packing, labelling, documentation and arranging courier collections
• Process returned goods, demo equipment and other incoming materials while ensuring records are correctly updated

Requirements
• Previous experience working in a warehouse, stores or logistics environment
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records and inventory levels
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams
• A proactive, reliable team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Familiarity with inventory, warehouse management or ERP systems (SAP knowledge beneficial but not essential)
• Understanding of logistics processes, courier coordination and warehouse safety practices
