Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Gold Carded Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial (shop fit out). This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems and the ability to work with various hand tools and power tools. The Electrician will ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Responsibilities
* Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
* Troubleshoot electrical issues and conduct repairs as necessary.
* Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant safety codes and regulations.
* Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.
* Maintain an organised work area and ensure tools are properly stored after use.
* Document all work performed in accordance with company policies.
Experience
* Proven experience as an Electrician or in a similar role is preferred.
* Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools related to electrical work.
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and safety protocols.
* Ability to read technical documents such as blueprints or schematics.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Relevant certifications or qualifications in electrical work would be advantageous.
