The Job You'll Do;

* As a skilled and dynamic Design Technician you will bridge the design intent with the manufacturability and execution of the solution.

* Complete basic CAD tasks and modifications to existing designs

* Understand manufacturing constraints and assist with determining manufacturing feasibility

* Manage your assigned workload with multiple projects running concurrently

* Liaise with design engineers to ensure the information produced represents engineering design and intent.

* Participate in design reviews, site meetings, and technical discussions to gain experience

* Provide support to sales and estimation roles

* Produce general arrangement drawings, section details, and connection designs

* Utilize AutoCAD, Inventor, Tekla Structures, TEDDS, and Microsoft 365 for task execution (or equivalents of these packages).

* Contribute to standardization efforts

About You;

* HNC or above in a related subject such as design, engineering, manufacturing, etc. (or equivalent experience)

* Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD, Inventor, Tekla Structures, SolidWorks (or equivalent)

* Understanding of design, engineering and manufacturing processes

* Strong numerical and analytical skills

* Excellent problem-solving abilities

* Attention to detail

* Strong time management and multi-tasking skills, capable of handling concurrent projects.

* Effective communication skills, with the ability to present information to non-technical stakeholders
