Typical associated tasks include, but are not limited to:
(a) Development, implementation, customization and maintenance of SharePoint-based solutions that meet the functional needs of various FSA business areas.
(b) Consult and work closely with FSA business managers, technical leads, Project Managers, and other stakeholders to understand what their business area does, and how it operates in order to identify and develop tools in SharePoint.
(c) Serve as a technical resource to FSA business managers, technical leads, Project Managers, and other stakeholders in the development of a SharePoint strategy in keeping with organizational priorities, objectives and plans.
(d) Develop user documentation and implement custom training for FSA SharePoint users.

(c) Ability to work in a fast paced environment and deal with ambiguity.
(d) Minimum of five years with working knowledge of SharePoint Technologies with experience in SharePoint 2010 and 2013. Hands on Experience in using Web Parts, Site Collections, Content Deployment, InfoPath Forms, Excel Services, Business Data Catalogs, Site Columns, Content Types, Authorizations, Workflows, Advanced Search, Master pages and Content pages, Search settings.
(e) Able to develop workflows using out of the box workflows and custom workflows using SP designer.
(f) Assist others in FSA with SharePoint knowledge at a level appropriate to their job function.
(g) Ability to interpret business needs into functional and then technical requirements.
(h) Ability to know when and communicate why SharePoint is not the optimal solution for a business problem is required.
(i) Advanced MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
(j) Comfortable working with remote teammates and able to deal with business users and technical stakeholders. Working with users and application stakeholders to verify and validate requirement.
(k) Possession of a certification as a Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE): SharePoint and Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD): SharePoint Applications is a plus.
A senior-level resource (Level 3), unless otherwise specified, shall have more than 6 years of defined experience
Current platform environment is as follows:
Intranet Platform: Consists of three-tiered server structure (Dev, Test, Prod) all running IIS web server. Content publishers use MS FrontPage and SharePoint Designer to update content on Dev.
Current Internet Platform: Consists of three IBM WebSphere servers (Dev, Pre-Prod and Prod) and related Apache servers.
New Platform for both Intranet and Internet: Percussion CM1 running on a LAP server, supported by a separate MySQL DB server. Content is then published to an Apache web server via CMS publication feature.
