Salary: £36000 - £38500/annum vehicle/fuel card, travel time bonus

Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

£38.5 k per annum & travel time, vehicle & excellent package

(realistic earnings of £45k without overtime)

Our client is a reputable Technical M&E Repair and Facilities Management specialist with a stable and growing portfolio of contracts in Berkshire and Surrey, due to recent growth they now have a key requirement for an experienced mobile mechanical & electrical engineer to join their team, the M&E Engineer will be providing PPM and Reactive Maintenance on contracts in Berkshire and the outskirts of Surrey.

Previous experience/ desired skills:

Self-motivated with a flexible attitude, pro-active and positive approach to work
Previous experience within a facilities/ maintenance management building services role desirable
Industry recognised NVQ Level 2/3 trade qualification (Electrical,. Mechanical, HVAC, etc) or proven experience within the industry over a number of years.
Knowledge and experience in carrying out PPM, fault diagnostics and rectification on AHUs, pumps, pressure vessels, heating. Steam and cooling systems, hot and cold-water systems and an understanding of BMS systems
Adaptable building services skills to include the ability to to troubleshoot and carry out repairs
Team player who can work with and support others
Excellent communication skills written, spoken, via email and generally IT proficient
IPAF / PASMA certificate or willing to undertake training
Excellent Customer Service skills, with an emphasis on dealing with customers and clients both face to face and over the phone
Ability to work with multi-technology systems to effectively deliver PPM and Reactive tasks (PDA Devices).
Must hold a full clean UK driver's license#

Main duties

Ensure that all equipment and services are maintained and operated in a safe condition to comply with Health & Safety.
Provide excellent customer service to building occupants, ensuring they are made aware of work order progress in a timely manner
Monitor regular preventative maintenance programme of equipment.
Maintain a working knowledge of statutory regulations and to ensure awareness of all safety procedures.
Liaise with contractors or external suppliers where required and clearly communicate technical issues
Ensure that work is carried out to a high standard of quality and in line with current legal standards, company policies and procedures
Maintain equipment supported by sound diagnostic and problem-solving skills, raising issues as required to the supervisor on a timely basis
Provide a service that ensures all key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) are met
Provide technical support/input to projects and initiatives
Ensure regular feedback on issues arising before, during and following work activities that are completed
Complete any required paperwork and reports accurately and on a timely basis
Complete required training and development in order to maintain competency in the role
Comply fully with Health, Safety & Environmental policies
