Senior Healthcare Assistant | £25,000 | 33 Hours Per Week | Night Shifts

 

Our client is seeking a warm, experienced and committed Senior Healthcare Assistant to join their friendly and welcoming care team at a beautifully converted home that’s full of character and comfort.

The Senior Healthcare Assistant will play a vital role in leading by example, delivering high-quality, person-centred care, and supporting the wider care team to ensure residents feel safe, respected and at home. Set in a lovingly restored building that retains its original charm, the service provides residential and dementia care in a warm and relaxed environment.

 

What You’ll Need

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working as a Healthcare Assistant
  • Level 3 in Health and Social Care
  • Previous experience with care planning and documentation
  • A kind, patient, and team-oriented attitude
  • Confidence in supporting others and using initiative
  • A genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of older people

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver hands-on, compassionate care tailored to residents’ individual needs
  • Assist with care planning, documentation and daily record-keeping
  • Mentor and support junior care staff, promoting best practices at all times
  • Monitor residents’ health and wellbeing and escalate concerns appropriately
  • Help create a homely, respectful and engaging environment for residents
